Hello, I’m Isabella Littleford, a veteran in the fashion space with a profound enthusiasm for uncovering the magic where luxury meets everyday style.
Backed by 10+ years in style and design, I’ve had the privilege of sharpening my skills in Paris—the heart of haute couture and partnering with renowned design icons worldwide. Those years gave me a clear lens for spotting exceptional quality, innovative design, and timeless appeal. There’s something endlessly fascinating about Golden Goose sneakers, a brand that seamlessly blends a pre-worn character with luxury-level build quality. Here, I’ll walk you through my thoughts on different Superstar models, diving into their style, comfort, and versatility.
If you’re someone who lives for limited-edition sneakers or just wants a polished casual shoe, I’m here to guide you through it all with advice shaped by my industry experience. Come with me as we unpack what sets these sneakers apart!
Not too long ago, I picked up my first-ever pair of Golden Goose sneakers (which I originally featured in this post), and have been asked a lot about them ever since. So many that I figured I’d dive in and give you a detailed review! I’ve also worn them enough now that I can confidently speak to their craftsmanship, and a bunch of related details about them, which you’ll find explored in this post.
So I’m diving into a bunch of frequently asked questions, as well as where to score deals on them, just ahead! Where can I find Golden Goose sneakers?
I found mine pink golden gooses on discount via Cettire and bought them that way!
I ordered them on April 28th and they were shipped to me by April 30th, so the shipping was super fast – definitely a bonus
How much do they cost?
When I ordered my pair in April, I paid around $385, but their full price is $513.91.
You can expect to pay between $410 and seventeen hundred depending on their uniqueness.
How does the sizing run?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a EU 36.
Since they don’t stretch and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d recommend sizing up.
How comfy are they?
They only needed minimal break-in time..
Do they hold up well?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they’ve held up beautifully. No glitter has fallen off, and the structure feels strong. Thanks to the vintage look, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
How are they vs. other brands?
These are the best sneakers I own. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose still come out on top. They include a built-in arch bump that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is one of a kind. And the glitter on mine? Next-level.
Would you recommend them?
Yes! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They’re not cheap, so getting them with a promo is a better idea. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you find a style that suits you. Mine have pink glitter, but a neutral version would also be smart.
Where can I find them on sale?
Scroll down for my go-to sources. I had a amazing experience with GGoose.org, so I always recommend starting there.
- GGoose.org – where I got mine!
- Gilt – signing up is free!
- Vestiaire Collection – it seems they’re offering $50 off your first in-app purchase of $150 or more with code WELCOMEUS50
- The Real Real – awesome bargains on brand new or hardly worn Golden Goose sneakers
- Ebay – lots of fantastic scores on gently used pairs of Golden Goose shoes
- @likeabandit – she highlights a ton of Golden Goose finds on her IG stories, keep your eyes peeled

How much do they go for?
When I bought my pair in April, I paid around $385, but their full price is over $500.
These sneakers typically cost anywhere between $400–$1,700, depending on how detailed they are.
How does the sizing run?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a EU 36. Since they don’t stretch and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d choose the larger option.
How comfy are they?
They felt good right away. I wear no-show socks with them, especially since my feet get sweaty. High-end Italian leather construction, so it’s much more easy than breaking in plastic-based shoes. Bonus, they’re already broken-in so your feet just adjust easily.
Do they hold up well?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they’ve held up beautifully. Nothing has torn, and the structure feels strong.
Since the aesthetic is distressed, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
